How can we help? 👋

Why every call starts with a short disclosure

The automated-call notice at the start of every call, and why it's there.

Every call answered by your AI receptionist opens with a brief disclosure letting the caller know they're speaking with an automated assistant, not a person.

This isn't optional and can't be turned off — it's a legal requirement for automated calling systems, and try99 builds it into every account so you don't have to think about compliance.

In practice, it adds only a second or two before the receptionist gets into helping the caller, and callers can still ask to be connected or leave their information exactly as they normally would. If a caller specifically asks for a real person, let us know how you'd like those requests handled (see Can urgent calls be forwarded to me directly?).
